Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TextCraft (“we”, “us”, “our”), available at textcraft.co. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use TextCraft.

1. The Service

TextCraft provides AI-powered writing tools including a Grammar Checker, Humanizer, Summarizer, Translator, AI Detector, and Plagiarism Checker. The tools use third-party AI language models to process text you submit.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TextCraft. By using our service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have the consent of a parent or guardian.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide a valid email address. We may verify it before granting full access.
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts for automated use without our written permission.
  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at textcrafthelp@zohomail.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use TextCraft to:

  • Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, or violates any third party's rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent academic integrity policies (e.g. submitting AI-generated work as your own in violation of your institution's rules).
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to make requests beyond normal human interaction.
  • Attempt to overload, attack, or compromise our systems or third-party infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent the source or origin of content in ways that could harm others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

5. Plans, Billing & Subscriptions

Free plan

Free accounts have limited tool access and usage caps as described on our pricing page. Limits may change with notice.

Free trial

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with expanded access to all tools. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial period, accounts automatically revert to the Free plan. Trial eligibility is limited to one use per account identity. Deleting an account and registering again does not create a new trial; returning users may be placed on the Free plan.

Paid subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly through Lemon Squeezy.
  • Billing renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Refunds

We offer refunds within 7 days of a charge if you have not significantly used the service in that period. To request a refund, contact textcrafthelp@zohomail.com with your account email and reason. Refunds are at our discretion after the 7-day window.

6. AI-Generated Content

TextCraft uses AI models to process your text and generate output. You acknowledge that:

  • AI output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any output before using it.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or fitness of AI-generated results for any particular purpose.
  • TextCraft scores (grammar quality, uniqueness percentage, AI likelihood) are estimates based on pattern analysis and are not legally binding assessments.

7. Intellectual Property

Your content

You retain ownership of all text you submit to TextCraft. By submitting text, you grant us a limited, temporary licence to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Our content

The TextCraft platform, brand, design, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TextCraft is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
  • AI-generated results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your use.
  • The service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextCraft and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date and, where required, by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
